Experience of the Right Candidate
- 3-5 years of IT project management experience in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of TDS (Technical and Database Systems), SQL, MySQL, Windows-based services, and firewall rules
- Familiarity with RedHat and legacy system deployments
- Experience managing IT budgets, financial planning, and stakeholder collaboration
- Understanding of IT governance structures and approval processes
- Experience working with Scrum, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies
- Must live in Michigan and be able to go on-site once a week
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate
- Oversee IT project schedules, scope, and risk management
- Act as a liaison between IT teams, finance, and leadership stakeholders
- Monitor project performance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication
- Manage the change control process and escalate issues when necessary
- Work closely with governance teams to ensure project approvals and compliance
- Support financial tracking and procurement processes for IT projects
- Drive adoption of PMBOK 7 and 8 methodologies within the PMO
- Lead long-term release planning and execution
