Senior Software Engineer – Slack (Santa Monica, Orlando, NYC, Seattle,Los Angeles)
Optomi, in partnership with a renowned global leader in entertainment and media, is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for any of their hub locations. Candidates must have hands on experience migrating, consolidating and optimizing Slack, Google Workspace and Box applications, integrations and workflows into Microsoft-based toolsets. This candidate will have multiple years in backend development and has worked on large scale migrations. Experience of the right candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- Hands on experience 3 years of experience migrating, consolidating, and optimizing Slack, Google Workspace/G-suite and Box applications, integrations, and workflows into Microsoft-based toolsets.
- Must have work with a user base of 1000 looking for someone who has worked on these types of migration on a large scale.
- 5 year exp with back-end development (Phyton, CSharp.net, Java Script or PowerShell)
- 10 years of progressive experience in an IT related field
- 7 years of demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise-level Messaging and Collaboration technologies
- 5 years of experience in project management of large IT initiatives
- 5 years of experience working with and directing suppliers in an outsourced environment
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- This candidate will be working on the Slack transition project.
- This candidate will be a hands-on developer and when required work as an advisor to other teams.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, including Executive levels
- Strong customer skills
- Strong technical analysis and engineering skills
- Ability to be an effective team member and provide coordination across matrixed virtual teams and organizations
- Ability to analyze complex business/technical data and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Ability to focus align teams around critical initiatives
Salary : $75 - $80
