What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Data Scientist position at Optomi?
**This position will be on site in office 4 days a week in Charlotte, NC**

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Telecom industry, is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist / full stack Machine Learning Engineer to join a team supporting data quality initiatives by building and deploying predictive models to find future trends and identify data quality issues.
Requirements:
- 4 years of hands on ML or Data Science experience in a production environment
- Experience partnering closely with both the business and technical partners to deliver end to end solutions
- Proven experience in model development and deployment with tools such as Python, Pandas, R, Sagemaker, Redshift ML, MLFlow, KubleFlow, and Git or similar tools
- A passion for data quality
- College Degree in CS, MIS, Data Analytics, or related area of study
- Ability to work on site in Charlotte, NC, at least 4 days a week
Nice to have experience:
- Experience in the telecom industry
- AWS certifications
- MS or advanced study in Data Science
