Senior Product Owner

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Senior Product Owner for their Lowell, AR location (3x/week onsite). The right candidate will have experience within the Logistics/Transportation industry! This Sr. Product owner will be adept with Agile/Scrum methodologies and bring 4 years of experience in Product Management/Ownership. This candidate will also have experience working in Jira and Azure Devops (One or the other, both preferred!).

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• Experience working in Logistics, Trucking, Transportation, etc.
• Experience working in Jira/Azure Devops.
• Agile/Scrum working methodologies.
• Any type of experience with leadership/Managing Teams is preferred.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

• Capturing Value Statements.
• Primary owner of the relationships across the enterprise for internal, external, and third-party vendors and provides support to the Client, verifying the business value delivered by the Product and how it aligns with the Client's strategy.
• Manages product backlogs and review iteration outcomes to ensure the business success of software development projects.
• Provide strategic focus for the development team, to ensure the right things to be focused on and completed during the development process; organizes workshops with the Product’s users (based on the Discover/Define approach) to discover and validate hypotheses, as well as work with architecture the best solutions for the Product.
• Contributes to the design of UX workflows for the product.
• Guides and mentors Product community in business domain knowledge and product owner practice
• Manages the 3rd party vendor relationship participating in negotiation and contractual agreements.
