This role is ideal for a well-rounded engineer with strong SQL, object-oriented programming, and leadership experience who thrives in a dynamic, problem-solving environment. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing agriculture-focused SaaS solutions, working on system integrations, troubleshooting, and reporting while collaborating with both business users and junior developers.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development.
- Support and enhance existing agriculture-focused SaaS applications (e.g., Oneway, AgTech).
- Handle incident management by troubleshooting application errors, resolving import issues, and ensuring smooth system operations.
- Work with SQL databases for reporting, data management, and integrations.
- Collaborate with software vendors to integrate new agribusiness software solutions.
- Assist in installing and configuring new software solutions within the company’s technical environment.
- Manage system integrations, ensuring data flows properly between applications.
- Work closely with business users to understand and address technical needs efficiently.
Qualifications of the Right Candidate:
- 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (VB.Net preferred but open to others).
- Expertise in SQL – both for development and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with repositories (GitHub preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle incident calls and troubleshoot system issues.
- Strong communication skills – ability to interact with business users and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset – comfortable working closely with junior developers and guiding them in best practices.
- Azure experience.
- Data analytics tools (Power BI, Dataiku).
- Python for automation or data processing.
- Experience in the agriculture or poultry industry is a major advantage.
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
