We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team at OptumCare's WellMed Clinic in San Benito, TX.
Job Summary
This is an opportunity to coordinate and perform diagnostic radiology procedures utilizing computerized medical imaging equipment as ordered by the physician.
Clinic Hours and Location
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. However, we do not disclose specific addresses to maintain patient confidentiality.
Primary Responsibilities
- Adapt client assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet individual needs.
- Perform various radiology procedures using CR equipment.
- Format images, print films/CDs, and send them to the PACS system.
- Process, log, and track over-read reports and film/CD requests from external providers.
- Ensure radiation protection for patients and staff, adhering to Texas Department of Health standards and regulations.
- Maintain supplies, check equipment status daily, and report any issues affecting workflow.
- Comply with TDH standards and regulations regarding equipment and paperwork, coordinated through the Radiation Safety Office.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
