Job Overview
The ADAS Solutions Technician supports ADAS software development activities. They are involved in research & data collection, database development & maintenance, QA testing, and technical documentation.
Responsibilities :
- Gather technical specifications, schematics, and data from various manufacturers, industry databases, and internal resources.
- Input, update, and maintain ADAS and Automotive Safety related data (e.g., vehicle model coverage, feature availability, component specifications).
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Head of ADAS, and VP of ADAS Solutions to optimize database structure and improve data storage methods.
- Conduct periodic audits of the database to identify missing or outdated information.
- Test new database features or functionalities prior to release to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, working cross-functionally with support and engineering teams.
- Provide regular progress reports and performance metrics to the Head of ADAS Support & Systems.
- Contribute to the development of internal documentation, training materials, and user guides.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and product reviews to provide insights on ADAS database trends.
- Other duties as required.
