What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing and Communications Lead position at Opus One Winery LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Opus One Digital Marketing and Communications Lead is responsible for building relationships and increasing engagement across all digital and traditional communication platforms with the goal of sustaining customer loyalty, growing community, and enhancing the image of Opus One. This role oversees and manages the development and utilization of internal and external written and visual assets for outbound marketing communications including social media, e-mail, and website content. Attention to detail and creativity is required across multiple disciplines including digital marketing, content creation, and outbound communications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Content Creation
? Lead the creation of materials necessary for outbound communication in relation to the Omnichannel Communications Calendar, Events, and for the asset library (B-roll, special moments, etc.).
? Manage all photo/video assets within the company?s digital asset manager (DAM) and share with the press, trade, and internal teams as needed.
? Schedule and coordinate photography and videography projects for new vintage releases, digital marketing, and social media platforms; inputting the finished results into the DAM with appropriate tags, captions, and alt. text details.
? Collaborate with winery teams to determine annual content needs.
? Schedule and coordinate the cross departmental effort for the creation of new vintage release tasting notes.
? Finalize formal tasting notes creation including collaboration with outside designer for final web PDF?s.
? Capture internal headshots for employees upon Human Resource?s request.
Social Media
? Manage content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and others as applicable.
? Create and communicate social media plan through shared content calendar.
? Monitor and respond to daily messages and comments from all platforms.
? Monitor social email inbox.
? Compile and deliver monthly metric reporting.
? Ensure Social Media guidelines are up to date.
Website
? Ensure all website imagery, written copy, and content is up to date.
? Manage and conceptualize the creation of content for ?Opus One Moments? to include updated original copy and images.
? Ensure consumer facing content for new release is up to date and accurate.
? Collaborate with Direct to Market Manager to set up new vintage releases for the storefront, upload PDFs, and tasting notes and videos.
? Collaborate and execute on internal teams? webpage needs (HR, GR, Sales, etc.).
? Contribute to website strategy (SEO, UX design, etc.).
Outbound Email
? Collaborate on image selection and copy refinements for email campaigns supporting DTC, Domestic Sales, Guest Relations, etc.
? Support omni-channel campaigns and events with social media, email, and the website when applicable.
Departmental Operations
? Support the integration and implementation of new digital strategies, systems, and platforms.
? Align and activate Global Partnership and other departmental activity with departmental communications.
? Contribute to the creation of membership program needs, including printed collateral and gifting strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
? 3-5 years? experience in content creation and management
? BA/BS degree with a focus on marketing, communications, journalism
? Technical expertise in website content administration
? Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
? Customer service experience, preferably in the wine industry
? Strong organization and communication skills
? Must be at least 21 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience with digital reporting and processing solutions like Commerce 7, Klaviyo, Hubspot, Canto, and Hootsuite
? Experience collaborating with business stakeholders
? Fluency in other languages
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other activities necessary to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions/ Hazards:
Work is performed in various environments: indoor, outdoor, hot, cold. The individual will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic chemicals, electrical hazards, and fumes or airborne particles relative to normal cellar processes. Occasionally works near moving machinery parts. Noise levels are usually moderate to loud.

COMPENSATION: Base Compensation Range: $34.00 ? $44.00 USD hourly*

- The base compensation range is base salary only. In addition to base compensation, all roles are eligible for individual performance bonus and company bonus that range from role to role.
