A leading law firm in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Capital Markets Associate to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in private securities offerings, securitization, or general bank lending, including syndicated lending, asset-backed lending (ABL), and structured lending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on sophisticated CLO, ABL, and structured finance transactions
- Advise clients on asset-backed securities (ABS) and general structured lending matters
- Handle complex securitization deals, including CLO, ABS, and/or CMBS, though experience in these specific areas is a plus, not a requirement
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to deliver high-quality legal advice on a broad range of capital markets and finance transactions
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-6 years of experience in private securities offerings, securitization, or general bank lending (syndicated lending, ABL, structured lending)
- CLO, ABS, and/or CMBS experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong academic credentials and law firm experience
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Compensation:
- Competitive annual base salary range: $260,000 to $420,000, depending on experience, and qualifications – Cravath pay scale
