Our client, an AmLaw 100 law firm, seeks a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join their Subrogation & Recovery Team in their Dallas office. This firm is rated as the international leader in subrogation and recovery, representing the most industry-leading P&C insurers together with multiple syndicates, third-party administrators, managing general agents and self-insured companies. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global firm known for its expertise in litigation.
Responsibilities will include:
• Representing corporate clients in Federal and State Courts, handling civil actions related to property damage.
• Collaborating with a variety of forensic experts to investigate and evaluate the legal and financial viability of different causes of action in both single and multi-party litigation.
• Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and briefs.
• Taking and defend depositions as well as prepare for, attend, and present at court hearings.
• Maintaining effective communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
• Litigation experience, preferably prosecuting and/or defending product defect claims, property damage claims, construction issues, or property insurance claims.
• Experience working with various forensic experts (e.g., fire origin and cause, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, chemical; material, human factors, accounting, and standard of care) is highly desired.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and presenting oral arguments.

Salary : $160,000 - $185,000
