Position Responsibilities:
In this position, you'll be responsible for Pre-Admission Testing and Patient Education for our surgical patients. You'll document assessment findings and provide pre-operative coordination of records in order to provide safe surgical care, as well as provide patient education that is essential to an efficient and safe surgical experience. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care, maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you're actively involved in working closely with our patients and guiding them through their surgical procedures and care.
Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent as well as an active RN license in the state of Illinois. Previous experience that would lend to appropriately preparing and educating a patient for surgery is required. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, strong ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families. This candidate must have the ability to travel to both of ORA's ASC locations as needed.

Individual pay will depend on a wide range of factors such as candidate skills, experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and alignment with company benchmarks.
