We are currently looking for highly motivated, passionate, innovative and team oriented architects to be a part of our development team working on building modern business cloud based applications. The position is open for our Redwood City, California location.
Qualifications and experience:
- 15 years in building and architecting enterprise and consumer grade applications.
- 10 or more years experience of developing high performance computing systems.
- Highly experienced and efficient programmer in Java and SQL. Proficiency in PL/SQL and Javascript is desired.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion development is a significant advantage.
- Large scale SaaS / PaaS based cloud-native enterprise application development experience is highly desired.
- Experience in developing software projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies with geographically distributed teams is highly desired.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of core subscriptions functional domain.
- BS/MS in computer science or related field.
Soft Skills :
- Will be independent, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Ability to communicate with people of different cultural and language background.
- Will work well under pressure on multiple projects.
Design / Domain Experience :
- Usage Mediation standards and architecture.
- Usage Pricing and Rating.
- Usage Billing and Revenue Recognition.
- Subscription Management, Pricing and Billing.
- Exposure to large scale Subscription Managemet implementations will be a plus.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,200 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work as an architect to develop the next generation applications.
- Provide thought leadership and direction for future proof design and architectures.
- Design and build distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant software systems.
- Build cloud service on top of the modern Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders in understanding the requirements and arrive at designs / designs patterns, which seamlessly work across product.
- Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Salary : $102,200 - $251,600
