Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) is looking for a seasoned Cloud Account Manager that will be focused on the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
This is a hybrid/ flexible work position with a preference for a candidate based in the Virginia/ DC area.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,800 to $185,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.

Responsibilities:
About the opportunity (What you will do)
In this role, you will be responsible for positioning and selling Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS services in support of the NRO’s mission. You will couple Oracle’s value and differentiators with your NRO domain experience to position solutions that enable and enhance the NRO’s mission. Your primary job duty will be to serve as a client advocate for your customer and to identify, qualify, and capture Oracle Cloud opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing your territory throughout the sales process, to include business development, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales client satisfaction. The successful candidate will also build and expand business partnerships and system integrator relationships to drive mutually beneficial opportunities. You will work with a cross functional team that includes capture and business development, software, consulting, and hardware.
What you will bring (requirements)
- 5-7 years field sales experience in the National Security field (preferably with the NRO), including technology sales experience, or other applicable experience is required.
- Ability to accurately forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business.
- Business development, prospecting and presentation skills, excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Candidates for consideration will bring a proven track record of exceeding sales quota and territory/account development and will have experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues.
- Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors is helpful. Must have ability and willingness to rapidly learn Oracle Cloud technology.
- Some travel will be required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
This position requires the candidate to possess and/or have the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance with Poly.
