Due to rapid growth, Oracle GDI – Government, Defense and Intelligence, has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Communications Director.
In this role, you will be responsible forworking with the organization and senior business stakeholders to provide collaborative consultation and guidance on creating strategic alignment, driving awareness and adoption, managing change, and transforming employee experience through internal communications.
This is a remote based position with the ideal candidate living in the Washington DC area.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

- Consults with internal stakeholders from the organization to clearly understand business objectives and define the communications objectives and outcomes needed to address those objectives.
- Acquires deep understanding of senior internal stakeholders' business and builds ongoing strategic relationships to proactively provide guidance and support stakeholder's communications needs and challenges.
- Applies design-thinking and uses data, insights and user input to inform strategies, messaging and program design.
- Writes crisp and compelling positioning, messaging and content for a variety of media and channels, including email, articles, social media, newsletters, presentations, events, video, web, and collateral; ensures strategic message alignment and consistency across touchpoints.
- Manages communications plan implementation, including design and development of high-impact communications deliverables, and campaigns; collaborates with internal and external partners and vendors to deliver.
- Analyzes effectiveness of communications efforts, improves existing processes, and research new communication approaches.
- Works collaboratively with organizational leadership to successfully deliver on communications initiatives.
- Defines strategic vision and priorities for team in alignment with organization and business goals.
What you will bring (requirements):
- MUST be a US Citizen, in support of Federal Clients.
- MUST have experience working with the Federal Government or prior Oracle experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in communications with emphasis in internal/employee communications, including people management, project management, communication plan development and implementation, written and video storytelling, positioning and key message development, content organization, message flow, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
- 6 or more years of successful management experience including 2 or more years as a second level manager.

- Highly detail-oriented. Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Bachelors degree or 10 years of related experience with writing/editing emphasis.
