GIS Sr Principal Data Scientist

Job DescriptionThe GIS Data Scientist role will involve leveraging satellite and aerial imagery, LiDAR and point cloud data from instruments on drones or aircraft and fusing this with geo-spatial coordinates for detection of crop fields and tree canopies. These capabilities will power our product as we move into areas the demand boundaries around crops (farms and fields) and carbon capture / sequestration.Career Level - IC5ResponsibilitiesInteracts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
