Hospitality Consulting – Cloud Senior Solution Architect
Location: Columbia, MD metro area or Atlanta, GA preferred

The Hospitality Cloud Senior Solution Architect will work with client engineers / architects, and Oracle’s Consulting, Professional Services, Product Development and Application Development developers/engineers to define solution architecture, technical design, and assist in deep technical discussions / POCs for client use cases and requirements. The focus will be on solution-level architecture and design, assist leadership with product and customer blueprints, and working with internal business and development teams to drive technical/functional product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture: Define comprehensive, end-to-end solutions, technical design, customizations based on client use cases. Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered. Recommend the project technology stack and integration methods.
Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with customers to understand business use cases, technical needs, and operating constraints. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to customer technical teams.
Stakeholder Management: Advise customer and Oracle stakeholders as to technical capabilities and solutions. Communicate effectively with C-level and other organizational leaders to break down roadblocks and ensure project success.
Technical Leadership: Find the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problem(s) while providing mentorship to customer and Oracle technical teams throughout the life of the project. Assist leadership in defining hospitality blueprints, work closely with client architects and engineers.
Product Influence: Analyze non-functional requirements (such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability of a product) and ensure that further product engineering will meet them. Leverage internal relationships to influence product roadmap and future design accordingly.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- 5-7 years of technical experience in areas such as:
- IT architecture, infrastructure, and cloud development
- API management, API portals, Swagger specs
- Cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, application containers, and application development
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java (or others)
- DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)
- Expertise in Oracle products, application servers, and database technologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), as well as AWS, Azure, etc.

- Client-Facing Experience: Proven ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Exceptional Communication & Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Professionalism & Credibility: High level of professionalism and the ability to represent the company with confidence and integrity.
- Expertise in Cloud Solutions: Deep technical knowledge of cloud architectures, platforms, and services.
- Hospitality Industry Insight: Familiarity with the unique needs and dynamics of the hospitality sector.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration to drive project success.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,800 to $201,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
