Job Duties: Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud-computing environment. Develop and support network fabric and systems. Develop and implement solutions for network issues, safely executing network changes. Participate in network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. May participate in network solution and architecture design process. Participate in operational rotations as either primary or secondary. Provide break-fix support for events and may serve as escalation point for event remediation. Provide root cause analysis as needed. Develop scripts to automate routine tasks for team. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a network developer-related occupation. Position requires:
- Optical Engineering;
- Optical network infrastructure documentation and updating and maintaining network drawings for plans for both operational purposes and new builds;
- Creating and maintaining optical network designs for metro, regional, and long-haul DWDM systems;
- Design and development of advanced WDM platforms for Optical Networking;
- Troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization;
- Advanced optical solution planning to onboard WDM platforms; and
- Tier3 operations support and documentation for transport platforms.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
