Principal Applications Engineer

We are looking for an Individual Contributor with excellent technical design and development skills to contribute to Next-Gen Human Capital Management Cloud  (SaaS) applications with consumer grade user experience, unified data model, seamless processes and AI embedded infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high quality features and solution for complex business problems leveraging multiple technologies.
• Collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed stakeholders across product management teams, product development teams and technology stack teams for delivery of new features and ongoing maintenance.
• Active ownership for the code quality and ensuring customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4 – 10 years’ experience in technical design and development of high-performance scalable enterprise business application software – preferably SaaS application software.
• Strong and hands-on technical expertise in Java, J2EE, Rest Services, Elastic Search, SQL, Java Script
• Experience in OJET, VBCS, ADF, SOA preferred.
• Exposure/Experience in Gen AI, ML preferred.
• Exposure to CI/CD preferred.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in intra and cross-team engagements.
• Outstanding customer focus –Passionate to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Willing to work from office in Pleasanton CA.

Based on experience and expertise, the job title may be Senior Applications Engineer (IC3) or Principal Applications Engineer (IC4).

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $80,500 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
