This Power Engineering position is needed to directly support development of the C3 power supplies, power shelves, BBUs and BBU shelves, and supercap products and to oversee daily interactions with power suppliers. This position will also be the point of contact to support deployment of these power systems to OCI datacenters and to handle OCI datacenter power escalations and DC build-outs

US: Hiring Range: from $97,400 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:
This position is for an experienced hardware engineer with a background in power engineering to provide engineering support for Oracle rack power infrastructure. Job responsibilities the development of lab test hardware and automating test procedures, project management of subtier suppliers, developing validation testing strategies and procedures, review and analysis of supplier test data submitted as part of product release, field support of including troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex problems often without the failing hardware. This candidate will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Job Requirements
Design experience of AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters
Working understanding of regulatory standards as applied to the release of power products.
Proficient in the use of test equipment including oscilloscopes, differential probes, current probes, electronic AC source and DC loads, Arduino’s and Aardvark’s.
Demonstrated ability to debug complex problems.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi task.
Demonstrated ability to work in a group or as an individual contributor.
