Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in software development, particularly in developing route propagation systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, Java, C , or similar.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, RIP) , experience with open source routing is preferred.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the OCI software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of route propagation service. As a Principal Software Developer, you will:
- Develop Route Propagation System: Design, develop, and implement a scalable and efficient route propagation system.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure smooth and reliable system operation.
- Design Documentation: Create detailed design documents to support the development and maintenance of the route propagation system.
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Unit Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the code.
- Routing Protocols Knowledge: Apply knowledge of routing protocols to optimize and enhance the route propagation system.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical support, and ensure project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in routing protocols and software development practices.
