As part of SBC team, the engineering resource will be working on design, implementation and deployment of SBC product in multi core environments like Virtualization and Cloud Native environments like OpenShift.
- Setting up of OpenShift/OKD CNE cluster
- Bring up and maintain the SBC product on OpenShift /OKDCNE Platform.
- Tune the SBC performance on OpenShift/OKD Platform
- Manage the OpenShift platforms (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and resolve them
- Maintain and enhance existing platform functionality in response to needs.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams throughout the release cycle.
- Write functional and design specifications as required.
- Contribute to evolving architecture, discussions and solutions.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Job Requirements:
- Expertise with RedHat OpenShift Container Platform
- Should have expertise in setting up OpenShift CNE in SRIOV and PV modes
- Expertise in bringing up networking applications on OpenShift platform and
- Expertise in scaling the performance of the networking applications in OpenShift environment
- Administering and supporting of the OpenShift platform
- Having a strong background in Linux administration, Virtualization, networking and security is needed
- Cloud Engineering Infrastructure development
- Expertise with OpenStack
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker and other container technologies
- Network troubleshooting skills and familiarly with VLAN, VXLAN, IP-IP, BGP, OpenVSwtich, VMware NSX, Loadbalancer technologies is a must.
- Strong understanding of Hypervisors (KVM, VMWare) and network IO modes (SR-IOV, PV) is a must
- Having exposure to other commercial CNEs is an added advantage
- Having exposure to public cloud Kubernetes engines is an added advantage
- Experience in GO Lang, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting is required
