We're seeking a talented and passionate Principal UX Designer who's excited by the challenge of crafting simple user experiences for complex, data-intensive workflows. We're using data and AI to deliver revolutionary applications that help our customers prevent disease, improve wellness, and eradicate health inequalities.
In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to solve complex population health problems by collaborating closely with clinicians, product managers, software engineers, UX researchers, and other UX designers. You'll drive the end-to-end design process from discovery to detailed execution, tackling complex problems through simple, beautiful, and powerful interfaces.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
Responsibilities:
As a Principal UX Designer, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with researchers, product managers, and subject matter experts to understand user needs, problems, and goals across diverse use cases
- Designing and envisioning concepts and experiences that meet our customers' needs
- Developing design strategies and iterating on designs based on feedback, research, and data
- Contributing to design specifications and help evolve Oracle’s Redwood design system.
- Leading design projects, including guiding and mentoring junior designers
- Partnering with engineering teams from design to handoff, ensuring designs are implemented according to specifications
- Presenting solutions, approaches, and choices made during the design process
- Using Figma to create and communicate concepts, wireframes, and detailed design solutions
Required qualifications include:
- An outstanding portfolio of thoughtfully designed products demonstrating concept to final product
- 7 years of experience
- Full-stack UX design capabilities
- Experience designing enterprise products, preferably in healthcare, research, or other related industries (experience shipping SaaS applications is a plus)
- Experience designing rich data visualizations, complex professional tools, flexible enterprise platforms, AI utilities, or related design solutions
- Your application must include links to an online portfolio or have an offline version attached
