Job Duties: Analyze user requirements to develop, implement, and/or support Oracle’s global infrastructure. As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area. Analyze existing programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and systems standards. May telecommute. (385.29492)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Programmer Analyst-related occupation.
Position requires:
- Database administration including Oracle RDBMS;
- GRID, ASM, RAC installation, configuration, upgrade and patching within versions;
- Operating Systems (OS) knowledge, Linux, Solaris, AIX; and
- Performance issues within Oracle multi-node RAC environments.
Qualifications:
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
