QA Consultant / Tester

Oracle is hiring a QA Consultant / Tester to join our consulting team specializing in delivering Point of Sale (PoS) systems for luxury and retail clients. This role requires hands-on manual testing expertise, a strong technical background, and the ability to collaborate directly with customers onsite during system integration and user testing phases.
Your Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure test environments using Windows and Linux systems.
- Perform manual testing of software upgrades and configurations, including editing configuration and XML files.
- Conduct onsite system integration and user acceptance tests with customers.
- Document test results and ensure requirements are met.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve software issues.
Your Skills & Background:
- 2-3 years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on manual testing.
- Technical proficiency in setting up systems, editing text and XML files, and working with configuration files.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and basic scripting.
- Ability to develop test plans and identify critical testing areas based on requirements.
- Fluent in Italian (native) and English.
- Flexible and willing to work onsite at customer locations in the Milan area.
