What You’ll Do: In this multifaceted role, you’ll take ownership of a global data center portfolio. With responsibility spanning up to 90 countries and 60 currencies, your day-to-day will be anything but ordinary. You’ll handle everything from lease abstraction, complex reporting requirements, real-time data analytics, invoice and payment management to complex financial setups, all while ensuring compliance with ASC 842 / IFRS 16 standards and Oracle’s internal accounting policies.
This role requires critical thinking, agility, and a relentless focus on data integrity and operational accuracy. You’ll work with internal teams like the Global Controllers Organization, Global Real Estate Finance, Technical Accounting, and our Cloud business partners to drive projects forward, always ensuring we meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage a global data center portfolio
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of portfolio data
- Perform detailed financial setup and payments in compliance with ASC 842 / IFRS 16, Oracle’s accounting policies, and local tax laws.
- Conduct audits and verify lease obligations for SOX compliance and cost control.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholder
- Support OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Adapt quickly to varying cultures, standards, and regulations in global real estate and data center markets.
- Utilize translation technology for abstracting and translating leases
- Gather, audit, and reconcile data for internal and external business reporting regularly
- Work efficiently and effectively across multiple systems and applications (lease management software, accounts payable, procurement, data storage) to streamline processes and ensure data consistency.
- Contribute to high-priority projects and work extended hours during peak financial periods to meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a track record of transforming complex data into actionable tasks.
- Solid and verifiable experience in lease management and ASC842 lease accounting.
- Ability to creatively solve problems and overcome challenges with resourcefulness and innovation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating across diverse teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Agile, adaptable, and able to pivot with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-4 years of experience in Lease Management with a focus on lease accounting responsibilities.
- Strong financial analysis skills and an understanding of data center contracts and industry standards.
