Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence (GDI) is seeking a Senior Manager to join and support our Federal Mission Systems Engineering team, focusing on technology sales across cloud, on-premises, software, and hardware solutions. This is a leadership role that will play a crucial role in driving the success of our federal mission systems group.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,800 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Role and Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor the Mission Systems Engineering team, providing guidance and expertise throughout the sales process. This forms the foundation of the role, as it involves managing and developing the team responsible for technical sales.
- Offer pre-sales technical support and guidance to potential federal mission customers. Understanding the unique requirements of government agencies is crucial before tailoring solutions to their needs.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to showcase Oracle's technology solutions. This step is essential to attract and convince potential clients of the value Oracle brings to the table.
- Contribute to shaping RFx responses and proposal requests, ensuring tailored solutions for federal customers. This responsibility involves translating the customer's needs into actionable proposals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Application Sales, Business Development, Consulting Services) to align Oracle's offerings and achieve sales targets. Internal collaboration is key to providing cohesive solutions and a seamless customer experience.
- Manage and mentor senior-level cloud solution engineers and architects, providing technical leadership. This includes guiding the team in pipeline management, sales strategies, and adopting the latest cloud technologies.
- Foster strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within federal agencies. Building these relationships is vital for long-term success and understanding high-level organizational objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on how Oracle's solutions can address federal agencies' mission-critical challenges. This role requires the ability to consult and offer valuable insights to executive stakeholders.
- Navigate complex organizational structures and communicate Oracle's value proposition to high-level stakeholders. Effective communication ensures that Oracle's offerings are well-received and understood by decision-makers.
