OCI Compute is looking for a high performing Senior Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a background in cloud services, server technology and software systems who can independently own and drive outcomes across OCI for high priority programs with large business impact. The ideal candidate has a background in operating systems and compute architecture, familiarity with virtualization, CPU and GPU systems as well as with managing software and hardware at scale. The candidate needs the ability to think about business problems from the point of view of our customers, analyze and process technical information, put together programs and schedules, to drive progress towards metric driven goals across service teams and communicating up and down the leadership chain accurately.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $104,100 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
- Have a strong bias for action; able to navigate ambiguity and the “gray” space
- Responsible for understanding business deliverables and independently putting together a program for delivery
- Responsible for meeting deliverable deadlines by anticipating roadblocks and working with teams and stakeholders to remove them
- Define requirements scope, including estimations for deliverables such as requirements and conceptual design tasks and related documentation
- Lead regularly scheduled status meeting with engineering teams, senior stakeholders, and executives; strong written and oral communication is a must
- Manage communication across organizations and cross-functional teams
- Develop PMO deliverables; i.e. SOWs, Project Charters, Project Timelines
- Have strong ownership to manage projects from implementation to completion
