You will mentor and guide other software engineers in the organization. You will advise your leadership on technical aspects of the service.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the software design and development for major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure Load balancing service, building new capabilities that customers need and capabilities to power 10x growth in the service.
- Drive operational excellence and best practices to ensure high availability, fault tolerant self-healing systems and automation.
- Deep dive into any part of the stack to root cause issues and ensure resilient and fault tolerant systems.
- Value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be hands-on when needed.
- Mentor and guide engineers in the organization to scale high quality technical decision making.
- Actively collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders in OCI Networking and with service teams across OCI, keeping customer first.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years of software development experience
- 3 years of experience designing and developing distributed systems applications
- Familiar with Networking protocols and networking architecture
- Proficiency in at least one high level languages: Java, C , C#.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
