The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for leading programs focused on delivery of new data center compute product introductions, associated service certifications, compute capacity delivery, initial customer onboarding, as well as complex, cross-organizational programs that impact both product and business for OCI. In addition, this specific role requires a passion for solving high-impact problems and the ability to jump into any in-flight project and get it on the rails.
Our Technical Program Managers are required to define strategies for programs, identify technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements, drive delivery, effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use company resources more efficiently, regularly participate in executive meetings to present progress, and share project information with stakeholders. This is a high visibility role, managing programs with regular communications up to the VP/SVP level of OCI.
Location: Austin, TX OR Seattle, WA - in office 3 days a week.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
- Drive critical cross-organizational programs in support of delivering new data center compute products.
- Work across various service teams to scope, develop, identify success metrics and timelines for programs.
- Provide technical leadership, but not line management of cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple, parallel programs including operational improvements.
- Responsible for meeting deliverable deadlines
- Define requirements scope, including estimations for deliverables such as requirements and conceptual design tasks and related documentation.
- Create risk management plans and maintain risk register.
- Host regularly scheduled status meeting with stakeholders
- Manage communication cross-department / cross-functional teams.
- Develop PMO deliverables i.e., SOW’s, Budget Requests, Project Charters, Project Schedules, Resource plans.
- Prepare communication plans and strategies for stakeholder engagement.
- Plan project deliverables; including hardware, resources, hours.
- Manage projects from implementation to closure.
Basic Qualifications
- 5-8 years relevant work experience in program and project management in a hardware or software delivery field
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
- Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.
- Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with delivering new data center compute products
- Supply chain and/or material demand planning experience
- Experience with cloud services, virtualization, or SaaS products
- Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

- Experience using Primavera or similar project, program, and portfolio management tools.
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g. PivotTables, lookups, if-statements, macros)
