Team and Product Description:
Our larger team produces Recovery Manager, Oracle Secure Backup, the Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance, and ZDLRA in the cloud or ZRCV. The Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance is an independent smaller team that enhances the Oracle database kernel to provide a one of a kind solution for enterprise customers.
The team has members all over the world, but most of the core work is developed here in Nashua New Hampshire. The work is a mix of database application and database kernel work. Developers here learn and work in both of those spaces. The challenge is managing petabytes of data at the block level in a custom file system, which we also develop and maintain.
Description of the Role: Actual job responsibilities/tasks
This is an extremely challenging area. If you join our team, you will work in database internals, storage, networking, security protocols, and web services. You will work on the problems that enterprise customers have managing large amounts of data, and you will develop innovative solutions to those problems.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.
