As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Object-oriented languages such as Java, Go, C, C , Python, or PHP;
2. RESTful APIs and web services;
3. Containerized applications and orchestration;
4. Linux and scripting;
5. Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals;
6. Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures databases;
7. NoSQL systems, storage, or distributed persistence technologies
Qualifications:
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
