The mission of Network Automation team is to build software systems that allows our partners to design, build, scale, and operate OCI networks.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader with strong management experience to help us build new features and grow our team. As a Senior Manager of Product Development, you will be responsible for helping design, build, test, deploy and operate highly scalable solutions for Oracle’s next-generation Cloud Infrastructure. You should be comfortable with building complex distributed systems involving the management and control of hundreds of thousands of network devices. These are exciting time at OCI. We are growing fast and working on ambitious new initiatives. You will be leading a team of software engineers in a fast-paced environment that requires agility and the drive to deliver.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in Networking/Cloud Software
- Minimum 7 years in large scale networking control and management plane
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient with TCP/IP and Linux
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or related engineering fields
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cloud computing & networking technologies
- Experience developing service-oriented systems, REST, python.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Knowledge of Scrum & Agile Methodologies
- Masters / Ph.D. in Computer Science

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Responsibilities:
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development.
Salary : $122,500 - $291,800
