What You’ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)

- Current undergraduate junior-year student graduating in summer or fall 2026 with a passion for design and interest in entering the UX Design field; extensive design experience is not required as a pre-requisite. Candidates must have a design portfolio to qualify
- Junior or rising senior at the time of the internship in US accredited university.
- Available full-time, 40 hours per week during the work week (typically 9am-5pm) from May to August 2025, or June to September 2025.
- Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience in a relevant field (excluding internships, research/teaching assistant roles, and military experience)
- Ability to work from our offices located in Redwood City, CA or Seattle, WA
- Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025

- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled who are expected to graduate in May 2026 or later

- Have deep empathy and a passion for understanding people, uncovering their values and unspoken needs, and designing solutions with that in mind.
- You might currently be studying or enrolled in coursework in one or more of the following areas: computer science, design technology, computer engineering, information technology, web development, software development or other relevant coursework.
- Familiarity with, Javascript, React, Preact, NodeJS, Java, HTML, CSS
- Some front-end experience coding in projects.
- Awareness of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) is a plus.
As a UX Applications Development Intern you will
- Be responsible for creating, evaluating, and modifying prototypes to support evolving enterprise applications software.
- Develop rich, easy to use, web-based interfaces for a suite of system/application management SaaS services.
- Develop and apply software design and usability processes in the investigation of technical problems to improve enterprise applications.
- Drive the lifecycle of the UI for features – from ideation through wireframing, prototyping. Be involved in the complete delivery of the features by testing and validating the feature against the design.
- May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses.
- Collaborate with other designers, product managers, engineering teams to implement UI features and iterate through requirements at rapid pace.
- Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction.
- May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
- You will partner closely with your fellow designers to innovate by designing coherent, seamless, and emotionally resonant, brand new user experiences for our users.
- You will work closely with your partners in engineering to take your designs and turn them into reality.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
