What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oral Surgery Assistant position at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates?
We are a fast-paced oral surgery office looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Oral Surgery Assistant. We provide quality care to patients, with a focus on developing lasting, trusted relationships between patients and staff. As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will assist with pre-surgical care and education, vital tasks during surgeries, and post-surgical care. You may also perform other tasks as required.

Candidates need to possess the required NC Dental Radiography training requirements. The ideal candidate will be a professional with a strong commitment to the highest of customer service and care for our patients.
The primary duties of this position include:
- Chairside assisting during surgery.
- Preparing the patient for surgery, additionally participating in IV sedation preparation, and monitoring the patient throughout the procedure.
- High-quality infection control techniques, and high-level cross-contamination prevention techniques.
- Decontamination of the treatment room, and high-level sterilization of surgical instruments.
The hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 am-5 pm, and Friday 730-2 pm. A generous benefits package is offered after a 90-day probation period.
