Flexible Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM—5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM—2:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside Assistance: Support oral surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for surgery, assist with IV sedation, and monitor patients throughout the procedure to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Infection Control: Implement high-level infection control and cross-contamination prevention techniques.
- Sterilization: Decontaminate treatment rooms and sterilize surgical instruments to the highest standards.
- Travel Between Offices: The assistant must have the ability to travel between multiple office locations as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our skilled surgeons and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Required:
- NC Dental Radiography Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification within 90 days of employment
- DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification) within 6 months of employment
- Preferred: 1 year of dental assisting experience
- Skills: Strong commitment to exceptional customer service, professionalism, and patient care
- Attributes: Positive, reliable, a team player, and able to travel between offices
