Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon during procedures and exams
Assist the surgeon during procedures and exams
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the oral surgery care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Take vital signs and accurately record anesthesia, biopsy, implant and bone grafting reports
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the doctor for exams and procedures
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Capture PAN and bitewing images
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification
- Dental assistance experience
- Breaking down and setting up operatory rooms
- Sterilization
- Ability to follow office protocols and oral surgery procedures
- Positive attitude
- Team player
- Knowledge of EMR systems
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
Salary : $20 - $25
