Oral Surgery Associates of the Southern Tier, a trusted private practice established in 2007, is seeking a dedicated Oral Surgeon to join our thriving team. As our current Oral Surgeon transitions to part-time, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Oral Surgeon to help us continue providing exceptional care to our patients. Job Description:
As an Oral Surgeon at Oral Surgery Associates of the Southern Tier, you will work closely with our team of specialists, including Prosthodontists, to provide high-quality surgical care in a private practice setting. You will have the opportunity to treat a wide range of cases, from routine extractions to complex surgical procedures, with the support of cutting-edge technology and a highly skilled team. Additionally, candidates who can provide IV sedation will be prioritized.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including extractions, bone grafting, and implant placements.
- Provide IV sedation and other anesthesia services as needed for surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with our team of specialists to plan and execute comprehensive treatment for patients.
- Utilize advanced digital workflows and technologies to assist in treatment planning and patient care.
- Ensure that all procedures are performed in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner.
- Maintain a patient-focused approach with excellent communication and care.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with advances in oral surgery.
Qualifications:
- DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Certification and experience in IV sedation.
- Minimum of two years of experience in oral surgery preferred; recent graduates with exceptional skills will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge in oral surgery techniques and patient care.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a private practice setting.
