Company Overview:
Oral Surgery Partners (OSP) is a rapidly growing oral surgery management company based in the St. Louis area (Chesterfield) that currently supports approximately fifteen practices in ten states. We partner with the best oral surgeons to help them grow their practices. The company will spend over $15 million per year on implants and other clinical supplies in 2023.
Position Summary:
The Procurement / Purchasing Director will identify and implement opportunities for cost savings in implant, supply and equipment purchases in collaboration with regional practice leaders
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Function as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Negotiate national contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings
- Implement usage of national contract vendors in partnership with regional practice leaders
- Implement and oversee an inventory management / procurement system
- Develop strong relationships with OSP partner practice doctors and staff
- Report cost savings and other value added KPIs to key stakeholders
Basic:
- 5 years of work experience in purchasing / procurement
- Bachelors degree
Preferred:
- Dental / Medical office experience
- Specific experience with applicable inventory management / procurement systems.

- Understanding of procurement and negotiating techniques
