Position Purpose:
The Manager of Partnership Development will help drive our efforts in establishing and nurturing relationships with our strategic partners. This role is crucial in expanding our network and enhancing our initiatives to support our long-term investment objectives.
Essential Functions
- Analyze preliminary financial and operational data from prospective new strategic partners for purposes of determining interest in pursuing new partnerships
- Assists with all financial diligence relating to new partnerships following the signing of a Letter of Intent
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Assist with the development of Power BI and dashboard reporting
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
- Engage with potential strategic partners aligned with our investment strategy.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partners aligned with our growth strategy.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments to inform partnership strategies.
- Work closely with business development and other cross-functional teams to align partnership efforts with current and future investment opportunities.
- Gather insights to better address the needs and concerns of potential partners.
- Track and analyze partnership development activities and results, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Assess the effectiveness of partnership strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze competitor strategies and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.
- Other duties may be required as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related major or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
- 3 years of financial planning and analysis experience and / or public accounting experience.
- 5 years of experience in private equity backed portfolio companies, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on partnership development or investor relations.
Performance Requirements:
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with surgeons and strategic partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and analyze investment opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in acquisitive healthcare is a strong plus.
- Ability to travel as needed for events and other functions.
