Position Purpose

The Campus Relations Manager who will be responsible for developing strategies to attract graduating Oral Surgeons and building relationships with Residency Programs and their residents and staff. Interacting directly with residents at career fairs, info sessions, and CV reviews, conducting interviews and candidate evaluations to identify the best candidates, while promoting the companys employer brand and shaping the companys message to appeal to OS Residents looking to start their careers, and ensuring the campus recruiting strategy aligns with the current and future talent needs of OSP. This individual must be a positive, goal-driven, sales-oriented professional with a successful track record who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Essential Functions

  • Build relationships with a network of universities and their representative based on which programs source the best candidates based on the companys recruiting needs.
  • Create and manage a budget and calendar of residency events and career fairs.
  • Promote the companys attendance at upcoming recruiting events and engage residents before, during and after the event.
  • Prepare presentations, videos and other marketing materials to introduce the organizations employer brand and job opportunities.
  • Attend and facilitate residency events, virtual recruiting events or company information sessions.
  • Answer residents questions about the company, culture, pay and benefits, training and development, corporate citizenship, compliance, and more.
  • Prospect, qualify and match candidates to surgeon positions within the organization.
  • Researches association publications, web sites and other appropriate resources on which to post surgeon opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with talent communities through a variety of channels like texting, email, social recruiting and more.
  • Educate residents about OSPs employment brand and culture.
  • Define opportunities to improve campus recruiting by staying up to date on trends and influencing organizational changes that can positively impact outcomes.
  • Work closely with the marketing development team on design for collateral materials for surgeon recruitment.
  • Develops annual strategic and monthly plans to fill open positions consisting of marketing events, telephone calls, emails, interviews, and site visits.
  • Assist with drafting Employee Agreements, Terms Sheets, and Employee Agreement Amendments as needed.
  • Contacts professional references for each candidate; documents information gathered and submits to executive team. Reviews post interview feedback from interviewers to determine interest on all parties' behalf.
  • Provides assistance to new hire surgeons in becoming acclimated to the organization during their transition/relocation.
  • Stays current on regional and national physician hiring trends and practices; researches competitor's activities to keep informed of changes impacting OSPs ability to hire and retain top surgeon talent.
  • Participates in other duties and responsibilities as assigned to recruit and retain surgeons.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Campus Recruiting, specifically related to hiring physicians.

  • Independent decision-making skills and utilization of sound judgement.
  • Excellent communication skills including negotiation skills; must be persistent and persuasive.
  • Must be able to establish rapport and effective working relationships with surgeons and practice administrators.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload, to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents.
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks.
  • Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, highly self-motivated, directed and change oriented.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation software.
  • Ability to apply discretion, trust with confidential Company information, along with the ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information.
