What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Administration Paralegal position at Oram and Moss, Chartered?
We are seeking a Full-Time Paralegal with experience in Estate Administration to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to Principal Attorneys and work collaboratively with paralegals and Associate Attorneys in estate and trust administration in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia and Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting of Engagement Letters, Petitions and supporting documents for probate and trust administration
- Case Management - review of asset information, preparation of inventories and accountings, petitions for fees
- Client Contact and Collaborative Contact with Appraisers, Financial Advisors and CPAs - on phone and in person
- Calendaring and maintaining critical deadlines
- General Administrative duties - copying, scanning, organizing and establishing client files
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as paralegal in estate administration preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites and office equipment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Comfortable speaking with Clients and Following up with them
