What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Nurse position at Orange City Area Health System?
Description: The Medical Clinic Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in patient teaching and is a link between the medical provider and patients. The Clinic Nurse responds to a high volume of phone calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments working directly with a primary care physician. He/she will work to schedule clinic appointments and outpatient procedures. He/she will work closely with insurance companies to approve medications and/or outpatient procedures.
Number of Hours: Full-time: 32-40 hours/week. Part-time: 16-24 hours/week. Casual: 8-12 hours/week
Schedule: A variety of shifts are available in Ortho, Triage, Urology, and our Walk-In Clinic.
Educational Requirements: LPN or RN licensure.
