Nature Recreation Specialist, Pepper Pike Learning Center
Orange Community Education and Recreation is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic, highly qualified individual to serve as a Recreation Specialist with focus on nature-based programs. The Recreation Specialist is primarily responsible for contributing to the oversight of nature-based programs, supervision of participants, and implementation of comprehensive services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each participant and our constituents. Extensive experience working with school age children and ability to deal firmly, tactfully, and courteously with youth participants in outdoor, educational/recreational settings is necessary. Current CPR certificate and concussion in sport certificate, will be required. The selected candidate will work approximately 25-30 hours per week for two weeks, from June 10–June 13 and July 15–July 18, Tuesday through Friday, from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with the potential for additional hours.
