What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Adaptive Recreation Specialists position at Orange City Schools?
Orange Community Education & Recreation is seeking paraprofessionals to lead a group of young children with special needs at our Unlimited Adventure Camp during the weeks of June 16 through August 1.
The preferred candidates would have the ability to lead camp activities with energy, while facilitating behavioral and social support to those that need it. Camp activities include field trips, swimming, sports, cooking, arts & crafts, games and outdoor activities.
Preschool camp will run Tuesday - Thursday from 9 am - 1 pm and the School Age camp will run daily from 9 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday (there are openings for both programs).
The pay rate is $25/hour for Adaptive Recreation Specialists (paraprofessionals).
