Job Description
General Functions
Coordinates all maintenance projects within the assigned area of responsibility. This is responsible technical and administrative work and may have supervisory responsibilities for a multi-disciplined staff. Work requires the exercise of a considerable amount of independent judgment and initiative under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor.
Representative Duties/Assignments
Graduation from high school or equivalent and five years of progressively responsible facilities management experience to include two years of experience in a lead capacity; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's license and possess a valid Florida Driver's License within six months of hire.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings.
Preferences
Experience managing contracts
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Managing System (CMMS); MAXIMO
Experience working at a Convention Center

Representative Duties/Assignments
- Coordinates maintenance projects within the Orange County Convention Center.
- Schedules work, prioritizes work assignments, performs quality control and executes and maintains a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
- Creates work schedules based on event activity at the Orange County Convention Center.
- Communicates schedules through face-to-face meetings and utilizing meeting management software.
- Oversees service contracts for the Orange County Convention Center.
- Interfaces with sub-contractors and vendors to determine quotes for work to be performed and oversight of projects to ensure quality control.
- Utilization and accurate maintenance of data in a computerized work management system and assures that all assigned tasks are updated and accounted for.
- Meets the Center of Hospitality (CoH) standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
