Representative Duties
- Rescuing bathers in distress and/or drowning situations; administering resuscitations and first aid, required.
- Enforcing the rules and regulations related to swimming areas.
- Resolving complaints and maintaining good public relations with the patrons.
- Maintaining order and discipline among bathers and other persons in assigned area.
- Maintaining the general appearance and cleanliness of assigned area when lifeguard duties permit.
- SWIMMERS!!!
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and a Level II DCF Background Investigation.
- All selected candidates must pass required certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. (Certifications provided by Orange County Parks and Recreation)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
