Job Description
General Functions
Responsible for performing short-term and/or long term financial and budgetary analysis for assigned area of responsibility. Work is performed with independence requiring the exercise of discretion, sound judgment and initiative under the general direction of the assigned supervisor.
Representative Duties/Assignments
Specific duties will vary based on area of assignment.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or closely related field and three years experience in accounting, finance or budgeting.

- Analyzes Department and/or Division financial and related budgetary information and makes financial decisions using the information.
- Performs complex financial calculations in evaluating financial proposals.
- Performs short and long term revenue and expenditure forecasts to make financial decisions.
- Assists in developing financial processes and procedures for the Department.
- Coordinates and prepares financial reports.
- Reviews financial records to ensure proper documentation is being maintained.
- Assists assigned areas in the coordination of the budget process.
- Assists with the purchasing of goods and services.
- Performs other special projects and related duties as assigned.
