Orange County Utilities provides water resources and solid waste recovery services to protect and enrich the lives of the citizens and guests of Orange County Florida. The Water Division ensures a safe and reliable water supply for all of Orange County Utilities’ customers. The Water Division operates three regional water supply facilities and nine satellite water supply facilities that collectively produce approximately 60 million gallons per day.
Water Division is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Utilities Service Technician. This position will be responsible for the collection, accuracy, management and analysis of data, scheduling of maintenance for Water infrastructure, procurement of materials, asset documentation, etc. Work involves communicating with division staff, vendors and other Orange County personnel. Work is performed under limited supervision and is reviewed for compliance with division objectives and policies for achievement of desired results.
This is an on-site position. This position is not remote.

This position is responsible for paraprofessional and administrative support work and serving as the liaison to Human Resources for a Business Unit's Division. Work is performed under the supervision of a Manager or designee.
Representative Duties/Assignments
Duties may vary based on area of assignment
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience
Preferences
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Experience in Maximo and Advantage

- Assists with purchases, deliveries and P-Card orders for goods and services procured by the division.
- Monitors, maintains, and promotes data integrity in Maximo through regular audits, user training, and technical support.
- Creates, modifies, audits, and maintains data in Maximo modules (i.e. Work Order Tracking, Assets, Planning, Preventive Maintenance, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.) according to the established procedures.
- Support key initiatives within the Operations Support group to enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
- Develops and executes reports in Maximo and Excel.
- Performs miscellaneous administrative duties and gathers other information as directed by management.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
