Position Overview
Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? Join our team at the Orange County Library System as a Finance and Budget Coordinator. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to play a crucial part in budget development, financial analysis, and administration. Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Mastery: Take the lead in coordinating the development and management our annual budgets, including operating, supplemental, and capital improvement budgets.
- Financial Stewardship: Keep our financial records in check and ensure we meet regulatory compliance, maintaining the highest standards of financial accountability.
- Reporting Expertise: Prepare essential financial reports for various plans and regulatory agencies, demonstrating your skill in financial analysis.
- Project Leadership: Coordinate and manage special projects as requested by our Chief Financial Officer, including ERP implementations.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Bring at least 4 years of experience in budget or financial analysis, demonstrating your expertise.
- Certification: A CGFO or CPA Designation is preferred.
- Financial Systems Maintenance: Ability to maintain financial databases and software systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in data analysis and financial software, with a knack for mastering new tools.
- Attention to Detail: Your strong eye for detail and problem-solving skills are what set you apart.
