What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Cart Attendant-Outside Golf Operations position at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge?
As part of the First Impressions Team (Cart Attendant), you are the guests’ first impression of our golf club. You set the tone for their experience by being friendly and welcoming. You are responsible for ensuring that our golf guests have a memorable golf experience by providing a cheerful assistance with the guest's equipment.
Expected Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour including tips and gratuities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet guests arriving at the bag drop
Ask guests their information about the tee time and name; relay information to the starter
Guide guests on where to go and show them where everything is located
Assist with guests’ bags and any other acceptable items from their car
Engage in conversation and make them feel welcomed
Ensure that guests’ experience exceeded their expectations
Maintain every cart clean, dry, and free of any leftover garbage
Check that guests are not bringing prohibited items onto property
Complete all duties when opening or closing FIT office/cart facility
Work closely with inside golf staff regarding all group events by obtaining details about the event and following through with assistance in providing bag tags and cart signs
Greet all guests including non-golfers as they walk through the staging area
Stage golf carts for daily play, clean and return carts to storage following daily play.
Assist guests with equipment to and from parking lot
Load and unload bags on carts from guest's carts and bag storage.
Ability to maneuver a golf cart through congested areas
Ability to lift golf bags in and out of carts
Ability to work during adverse weather conditions
Ability to tolerate different weather conditions (90% of time is spent outdoors)
Must have a valid driver’s license
Base pay rate is $10.00 per hour. Additional income from cash tips and event service fees are available.
